    img_2827Description:  The change of the season is often the ideal time to embark on a gentle, food based, supportive cleanse of the body. At some point in the year, we all have reasons to start a “cleanse” or change our health plan for a new direction, There are now SO many ways to do this, it’s difficult to know which “cleanse”, which “diet” or which “health plan” is right for you. This class will focus on essential questions to ask before embarking on any new health/diet plan, provide steps to accomplish a sustainable, who food based cleanse, and offer guided recipes and tips to make it as healthy and enjoyable as possible. We will also discuss essential herbs to incorporate to support every organ system in the body on a daily basis. Emphasis will be placed on creating a gentle, cleansing diet that is nourishing and building to the body, rather than a harsh "detox" that breaks the body down over a short period of time. Building, nourishing, grounding and individualized are the areas of focus for this class.

    Lindsay Kluge M.Sc, CNS, LDNLindsay Kluge has been a practitioner with Richmond Natural Medicine since 2013 where she has helped clients as a Licensed nutritionist and Clinical Herbalist. She received her Masters of Science degree in Herbal Medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) in Laurel, MD. She offers one-on-one nutrition appointments, with Grocery Tours and even help with cooking and meal preparation.
