Instructors:  Dr. Bridget Casey ND, Lindsay Kluge LDN, CNS, M.Sc, and Lindsey Wrable, 500 HR RYT

    Cost:  $50

Description:  Richmond Natural Medicine recognizes the vital role sleep plays in supporting and maintaining one’s health and emotional well-being. For this reason, we are committed to helping our clients achieve sufficient quantity and quality of sleep.

Many of us struggle to attain consistent, quality sleep and all of us know how difficult it can be to wake after a restless night of tossing and turning.  Not only does this make crawling out of bed seem unbearable, but our lack of sleep can follow us throughout our day, hanging over us like a heavy cloud. It can affect how well we feel, react, work, and get along with others.

The good news is, you don’t have to struggle.  Sleep enhancement techniques go well beyond just counting sheep these days!  During our Sleep Workshop, we will equip you with tangible, sustainable ways to fall asleep, stay asleep, and awake feeling rested and ready for your day.

Here is what you can expect to learn…

    • The physiology behind proper sleep
    • Foods/herbs that induce restful sleep
    • Foods/herbs to avoid before bedtime
    • How to prime your bedroom for optimal sleep
    • Morning rituals such as yoga and intention setting that will energize you and set the tone for your day
    • Evening rituals like calming yoga poses and delightful herbal blends that will prepare the body for tranquil sleep

By better preparing yourself for sleep each night, you can ensure a better night’s rest, as well as a more energetic and productive next day. The way you sleep and wake sets the tone for your day - what type of energy you’ll have, your mood, your productivity, and your feeling tone.
