She has also been trained in classical homeopathy with the New England School of Homeopathy.  In addition to her medical training, Dr. Jensen has experience with indigenous healing modalities and extensive training in the facilitation of healing generational and collective trauma.

From Dr. Jensen:

“I didn’t always know that I was going to grow up to be a doctor, but I’ve always had a deep inner knowing that I am here to help and support people.  I particularly have a special place in my heart for those who suffer from chronic illness, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, PTSD, and addiction, as I have come to understand that these often overlap.

I have personally battled with chronic illness and know what it’s like to be failed by the modern medical care system (in spite of its best efforts), to feel hopeless, stuck, and sick & tired of being sick & tired.  It wasn’t until I began to address my illness on all levels – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – that I began to restore my health.  Combining my personal life experience with my naturopathic medical education, I am committed to supporting and empowering patients through their healing journeys as they restore vitality in their lives on all levels.

The human body has its own beautiful and innate healing wisdom, and the healing journey looks very different for every person.  In addition to guiding patients through removing obstacles to health and wholeness, I tend to favor gentle, individualized, and intuitive healing modalities, as I have found these personalized approaches to be highly supportive in disease prevention, optimizing wellness, and restorative for those navigating chronic illness.  I am so very grateful for this opportunity to do my part and find it an honor to partner with patients in this ever-evolving thing we call healing.”
